In July 2016, Means nearly two years ago ,The Government of India(GOI) established the Unique Identification Authority of India also know as UIDAI. UIDIA was ordered by government to allocate Aadhaar card to every inhabitant of the nation.A 12 digit unique identity number is issued to every Indian resident which was totally based on biometric and demographic data collected for that peerson. Prominently,In 2017, the government has made connecting Aadhaar to PAN and mobile number mandatory.

Now today in this post i will tell you about certain tools with which you can update and verify information regarding Aadhaar easily even while sitting at home. i will tell you about one simple online portal which enables you to verify their Aadhaar email(email associated with aadhar card) or mobile number.

Verification is needed for availing online Aadhaar services and other benefits. It is mandatory to link one’s mobile number. Also For those who have not given their mobile number, they are required to go to a Permanent Enrolment Centre and update it.

It is important because if your mobile number is not linked it would be illegal. If you have not verified your mobile number/email yet you can follow these simple steps-

Step 1: First of all you have to Visit UIDAI official portal(Click Here To Visit) and scroll down,You will Find Verify Email/Mobile Number under Aadhaar services section. Click that text


Step 2: On the next page you will be asked to fill some information on the site which includes your 12 digit aadhar number, and then put the email or mobile number that you wants to verify.

Step 3: After filling all your required details ,Enter the security code in the respective fields and then click on the “Get OTP”.

Step 4: You will receive a OTP (One Time Password) on your registered mobile number or email, depending on what you have filled in the form. After you enter the OTP, click on the Verify OTP button.You will shown this message “Congratulation! The mobile number/email ID matches with our records!” (refer the image)
